Our Middle School programmes are founded on the same holistic pedagogical ideology that reflects our commitment to nurturing the leaders of tomorrow in our Early Years and Primary School programmes. Beaconhouse incorporates the cross-curriculum priorities and general capabilities of the CIE curriculum and also offers the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) . The Middle School programme curriculum is perfected to meet the needs of the early-adolescents that are slowly transitioning from having developed the preoperational stages of cognition to acquiring a more nuanced, analytical understanding of the world around them. This interdisciplinary curriculum is enriched by the use of technology in the classrooms, providing students ample opportunity to visualise, hypothesise, and theorise new ideas through hands-on activity-enriched curricular experiences. Supported by strong co-curricular programmes students are encouraged to become lifelong learners who can solve problems, think creatively and critically, communicate effectively, and act ethically.
