Cambridge Assessment International Education
Beaconhouse and Cambridge International share a longstanding relationship spanning decades. Students who opt for O Level at the secondary school level take these exams through Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). O Level is a standard UK qualification, usually taken at the age of 16, available in a wide range of subjects. Most students take between seven and 10 O Level subjects and study for two to three years. After completion of O Level, students enrol in the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level, commonly known as GCE A Level, typically aged 17 to 18.
At Beaconhouse, A Level is also offered through Cambridge International and builds upon the foundation of O Level or equivalent. Students usually select three to four subjects to study in-depth over a period of two years. The A Level curriculum is designed to provide a rigorous and specialised education, preparing students for higher education and professional pathways. Successful completion of A Levels is often a prerequisite for entry into universities around the world.
Pearson Edexcel International IGCSE
As the leading educational network in Pakistan, Beaconhouse is proud to be the first to offer an exclusive Pearson Edexcel International GCSE programme at select branches in the country. Pearson is the UK’s largest awarding body, setting the standard for international qualifications, built on the British educational system, and recognised by universities worldwide. It is the first examination board to offer online exams.
This initiative is a milestone in the digitization of learning in the country, and presents unique educational prospects for our students, who can now take assessments online.
The programme of study is completed over three years and provides up-to-date content and assessment methodologies to develop essential knowledge and enhance critical thinking skills. Course materials are engaging and intensive, and the qualification presents opportunities for further education and the skills necessary for successful careers. Exams are assessed externally and students have access to past papers and an extensive online library to support their preparation.

International Baccalaureate (IB)
Beaconhouse offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum of programmes at select campuses, aiming to develop well-rounded individuals who can respond to challenges with optimism and an open mind. The IB programmes include the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for children aged 3-12, focusing on inquiry-based learning; the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for students aged 11-16, which encourages academic challenge and life skills; the Diploma Programme (DP) for ages 16-19, promoting critical thinking and independent learning; and the Career-related Programme (CP) for 16-19-year-olds, combining academic rigor with practical career-focused learning. These programmes provide a flexible, globally recognized framework that can be tailored to students’ cultural and personal contexts, preparing them for success in an interconnected world.
